Nothing is fixed and alternative solutions may well emerge over the coming decade - it is for the local community to decide and enable it to happen. 1. Visual
Attributes - update 2004 This
site, which has little aesthetic value, consists of
three mown grass verges where two roads, Glebelands
Road and Kenworthy Road, cross. Tarmac pavements
bound each segment and the only notable elements on
site are a graffiti-covered phone box and a yellow
salt bin. Safety The
site feels safe as it is surrounded by houses, with
pedestrians and traffic passing through it
regularly. The
areas of grass do not currently support any
activities. Activities
that could be supported in the
future The
grass, which looks scruffy, is not mown regularly
and could be replaced over time by less
maintenance-intensive plants such as meadow or
ground cover shrubs. 2. 3. Ecology
