Attributes - update 2004 This
small abandoned brownfield area to the east of Wood
Royd Road consists of scruffy long grass and scrub
vegetation, with a couple of self-set garden plants
(montbretia and daisy), backed by tree and shrub
planting. A garage sits to the south of the plot
and a bus stop is located next to it on Wood Royd
Road. The Wood Royd Road playground is situated on
the opposite side of the road. Safety This
site is right next to the road, which could be a
hazard if young children were to use it.
The
site has been used for small-scale dumping of
garden waste. Activities
that could be supported in the
future Scrub
could be cleared and the site could be planted with
low maintenance ground cover plants and shrubs. A
seat could be installed to cater for people waiting
at the bus stop. Ecology
