Title:
COMMUNITY OPEN SPACES BOOK
CODE;
C2
Project
Summary:
This involves the local residents of an area writing about open spaces, their history, what they were used for and so on. It could be a useful project to help people recognise the distinctiveness of their local area.
Examples of good management. The Peak Park Rangers have carried out a similar project with the local community in Derwent. It was a successful project and was combined with an exhibition and Parish map.

Project
Management
This project would have to be advertised locally. School children could be asked to take part and interview local residents about events and points of interest in the area. This information would then have to be edited, printed and published.
