Project Title

PANORAMIC VIEWING POINT

Code

R1

Project summary

A substantially built viewing point at the trig point above Ewden Valley showing all the locations that can be seen from that site. A metal plate built into concrete or stone would be difficult to move, but would probably be prone to graffiti; to avoid this the same thing can be done using a map/leaflet which people can take to a specific location. After orienting themselves with a landmark, other features can be distinguished.

Example of good practice: there are numerous examples of viewing points all over the country.

Installation and monitoring of the view point for damage. Monitoring of numbers of leaflets and important changes to the view being noted.
