Aims and Objectives

 

Ecological

  • Maintenance of bilberry heath areas
  • Maintain and enhance wooded copse and area for bluebells and other ground flora
  • Maintain rough/acid grassland areas with a small area designated as meadow
  • Some control of scrub and bramble required
  • Possible pond construction (?)

Recreational

  • Enhance informal BMX track around site.

Community and educational

 

  • Involve young kids and parents in bmx track design
  • Community orchard and garden (with composting facilities) on northwest portion of site (adjacent to school ground)
  • Construction of benches for community garden
