Heritage Project Officer
Salary: £19,621 - £ 21,519 + 5% Pension Contribution

The Steel Valley Project and the South Yorkshire Forest Partnership are delivering the final year of a Heritage Lottery Funded five-year heritage interpretation and countryside access project for the Wharncliffe and Upper Don Area, North East of Sheffield

We are seeking a Heritage Project Officer to involve organisations, community groups and individuals and to work with them to develop the interpretive and educational elements of the programme. There will also be opportunities to promote access to the countryside through the projects’ delivery.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work with partners and local community at all levels, to secure their engagement and support for the project and to be able to prepare detailed programme of works with imagination and commitment.

Responsible for managing volunteers, trainees and working with the local community and local schools.

Tara Ball - Finance Officer

Responsible for all financial matters, funding and office supervision.

Rebecca Hughes - Heritage Project Officer

Responsible for the management of the Heritage Trails project, Heritage Festival and monthly events programme.

Kathryn Hughes - Environmental Project Officer

Responsible for the delivery of the added value project throughout the Penistone & Denby Dale area of the East Park Innovation Partnership. Responsible for managing volunteers, trainees and working with the local community in EPIP area.
